Dr. Gyaneshwar Kumar Rao

Dr. G. K. Rao, born in 1983 in Deoria, India, studied at St. Andrew College, Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur, India, for his B.Sc and M.Sc. degrees. He completed his Ph.D. in 2013 at the Chemistry Department, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, under the mentorship of Prof. Ajai K. Singh. During his Ph.D. research, he studied the catalysis of C−C coupling reactions using chalcogen ligated palladium catalysts. He worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Department of Chemistry and Biomolecular Sciences, University of Ottawa, Canada since 2014-2017. At present, he is a faculty of Chemistry at Amity School of Applied Sciences.
